Service Contracting
Our Service Department services and maintains any size or brand of manufactured generators and associated equipment including but not limited to switchboards, pumps, compressors and starter motors, both in the public and private sector. The sites we service include many of our previously installed generators, although there are no problems for us to service generator installed by others.
A service contract typically includes:
| Routine on-site service maintenance visits | |
| Annual testing (simulating back up emergency power) including issue of Annual Fire Statement (form 15A) | |
| Generator safety system testing | |
| Engine oil and fuel sampling and analysis | |
| Fuel bulk integrity testing | |
| Recommended frequency of engine oil and filter changes | |
| Detailed test and written engineer report | |
| 24 hour emergency call-out service | |
| Assistance with preparation of preventative maintenance and procedures |
Any defects found during the routine monthly testing are reported to the client through a detailed engineers report. Rectification of the defect is discussed with the client considering their requirements. After each site visit, the following reports are provided as per the contract requirements:
- Service Report and checklist
- Oil & fuel analysis reports
- Defects / New Works Quotation when required
