Grosvenor Place, Sydney
The client
Grosvenor Place is one of Sydney's largest and most technologically advanced commercial office towers. It is the leading landmark building in the core banking and finance sector of the Commercial Business District.
Contract requirements
The original contract consisted of the supply and installation of 6 x dual fuel generators, switchboards and a bulk fuel storage and distribution system. A contract for an additional 2 x diesel generators was also awarded to T.S.F. at a later date.
The contract also required that each engine, along with alternators and heat exchanger, be mounted on a common underbed. This was positioned to take advantage of monorails on the ceilings for engine maintenance. To minimise transmission of vibration, the sets also required mounting on air bags.
Since construction, T.S.F. has provided operational maintenance on all equipment supplied and installed.
